Conveniently Located.Casa de Costa Rica is conveniently located in Puerto Jimenez, the "Gateway to the Osa Peninsula" and all of the treasures of ecotourists." You will be only 300 meters from the most popular swimming beach in Puerto Jimenez, less than that to a grocery store, and about the same to the downtown area. The downtown area and its many restaurants, sodas, the bank, and other shops are within walking distance, making it unnecessary to rent a vehicle during your stay, thus saving several hundred dollars. If you prefer, you can call a cab for about 1,000 colones (approximately $2.00 USD). Directly behind Casa de Costa Rica is the Corcovado National Park Office where you can get additional information and set your tour of the park. Also, directly behind you is the Osa Travel Tourist Office, where you can arrange many of the other tours and activities that interest you during your vacation. If you prefer to spend a day on the Golfo Dulce sport fishing, a great boat captain can be found directly behind Casa de Costa Rica. Rony is considered the best fishing captain in Puerta Jimenez. The airport is about 2 blocks away where several flights throughout the day can take you to many destination spots of Costa Rica. Privacy, Convenience, Luxury, And Money SavingComing to Puerto Jimenez and the Osa Peninsula assures you the opportunity of a lifetime to experience nature at its finest. The area is still pristine as the road leading in is only a little more than 10 years old. There are limited places to stay. Resort rooms can be rented for more than $200 per day ($1400 per week, for the first person and more for additional people in the room)and there are smaller hotel rooms for around $60 per day, but if you want air conditioning, if it is available, will cost an additional $10 per day, (this would come to $490 per week). Casa de Costa Rica's low rates offers a place that is not shared with strangers. You control what you do and when you do it. It offers you the opportunity to invite others to your place. You can eat when you want, what you want, and even have it prepared by your own private cook if you desire. And, because you can purchase this food at a food store, it is less expensive and possibly more fresh than what you would get at a resort or restaurant. Of course, you could choose to dine at one of the many fine restaurants in Puerto Jimenez that are within a ten minutes walk of Casa de Costa Rica. The choice is yours. Because Casa de Costa Rica is centrally located you do not have a need for a rental vehicle which can be very costly in Costa Rica. This savings alone could be $500 each week. Most of the resort and hotel rooms in Puerto Jimenez are nice, but they are just that - rooms. With Casa de Costa Rica you get much more. Take a virtual tour and see for yourself. You could also rent a home in Matapalo or Carate. Some offer beautiful views, but you will need to rent a vehicle as they are at least an hour's drive from Puerto Jimenez, with no restaurants or other conveniences (not even a gasoline station) available. Although you are on vacation, there will be times this full service kitchen will come in handy, whether it be a quick glass of fresh juice or coffee in the morning, or a light bedtime snack. Also, we can arrange for a cook to come in to prepare light meals if you wish.
Three Bedrooms. Rather than have your family or party split you can all be together with three separate bedrooms for the evenings. There are 2 bedrooms have a matrimonial bed, and the third has 2 single beds. All have huge closets in addition to dressers, end tables, and other fixtures you might expect.
Two Full Bathrooms. There are two full bathrooms, one a part of the master bedroom suite, the other shared between the other two bedrooms. Each has a shower, with hot water, and vanity. The master bath has its own jacuzzi.
